Dr. Krystal Machado, Psy.D and nationally certified school psychologist, is doing a post-doctoral placement with Brain in Play International, providing therapy to adults and seniors with severe mental, physical, neurocognitive and medical disabilities. Krystal is a school psychologist whose experience ranges from developmental testing, special education evaluations and school based crisis counseling, to outpatient child, family and adult therapy/counseling services. She uses an eclectic client centered approach that incorporates CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing and trauma informed care. Dr. Machado is becoming certified in Brain In Play’s Brain Performance Enhancement.
