Erica Scioli, PhD is a research-scientist with national expertise in neurobiological growth factors related to brain development. A trained clinical psychologist and faculty member at BU Medical School, Erica has authored 15 publications in support of neuroepigenetic best practices related to the treatment of post-traumatic stress and pain management. She is the principal investigator of a $1M VA Federal Grant investigating Neurobiological and Psychological Benefits of Exercise in Chronic Pain and PTSD, and serves as an editorial reviewer for more than ten peer reviewed journals. Erica has specific expertise and interest in the use of exercise as a therapeutic neurobehavioral solution for the treatment of neurodegeneration, and patient motivation-activation.
