Edward Iannuccilli, MD is the Chair of Brain in Play International's Advisory Board and a national medical thought-leader with extensive entrepreneurial, academic, and governance expertise. A past board chair of RI Hospital/Lifespan Health System, and past president of RIH’s medical staff, the Endowed Chair of Brown University Medical School’s Emergency Medicine Department is named in Dr. Iannuccilli’s honor. Dr. Iannuccilli co-founded and chaired Ocean State Physicians Health Plan – the second fastest growing U.S. private company in 1989, and the predecessor of United Healthcare of New England. He founded/chaired CME Consultants – the first privately held national physician training company. Dr. Iannuccilli is past medical Director of University Patient Safety and is an investor-advisor for many innovative companies and projects. Dr. Iannuccilli is a serial author and lectures locally and around the world about his many interests. He remains Clinical professor Emeritus at The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University.
